Meeting Description:

AJL is committed to encouraging junior linguists to have opportunities
to present their work at a formal academic conference. Junior
linguists mainly include undergraduate students studying linguistics,
but Master’s and pre-ABD level submissions will also be welcomed.

AJL8 will be hosted at the National University of Singapore, in person
and with a Zoom component for participants who cannot attend in
person.

Call for Papers:

Abstracts are invited for the 8th Asian Junior Linguists Conference
(AJL8). AJL is committed to encouraging junior linguists to have
opportunities to present their work at a formal academic conference.
Junior linguists mainly include undergraduate students studying
linguistics, but Master’s and pre-ABD level submissions will also be
welcomed.

Abstracts are due September 1, 2023 (Anywhere on Earth).
All participants who submit an abstract should request their advisors
to separately submit an approval form by September 7, 2023.
