The European Cross-Border University (ACROSS) announces the Summer
School “Formal, Computational and Experimental Approaches in
Linguistics 2023” (FEAL 2023).
As a collaboration among the University of Nova Gorica (Slovenia),
University of Craiova (Romania), and University of Udine (Italy), FEAL
2023 represents an interdisciplinary training opportunity for BA, MA
and PhD students from linguistics, applied mathematics, psychology,
and neuroscience.
FEAL 2023 focuses on different research topics addressed in
contemporary linguistics through three main approaches: a formal one,
offered by theoretical linguists and mathematicians, an experimental
one, covered by cognitive linguists and statisticians and a
computational one, covered by computer scientists.

Tuition Explanation: There is no fee for participation
Up to 15 students from ACROSS Universities
(http://across-university.org/) will be granted a scholarship to cover
part of their expenses. Participation of students from other
universities is possible but no funding can be granted; remote
participation can be an alternative. There is no fee for attendance.
