Meeting Description:

The Canadian Society for the Study of Names (CSSN) will hold its 57th
Annual Meeting at York University from Sunday, May 28, to Monday, May
29, 2023, in conjunction with the Congress of the Humanities and
Social Sciences of Canada.

2nd Call for Papers:

The theme of the 2023 Congress is: “Reckonings & Re-Imaginings,” but
papers on any onomastic topic are welcome. We also welcome papers to
this year’s special panel, Names in Contact: Honouring the Legacy of
Wolfgang Ahrens.

Presentations are allotted 20 minutes, with an additional 10 minutes
for questions and discussion. Remote presentations are welcome.
