Meeting Description:
LingO 2023 (‘Exploring the Diversity of Linguistic Research’) is a
single-day linguistics conference that aims to bring together all
strands of linguistic study to explore the diversity of linguistic
research. The conference will take place on Friday 15 September 2023
at Wolfson College, Oxford.
Under the general thematic title of 'Exploring the Diversity of
Linguistic Research', this year’s iteration of LingO welcomes work (by
postgraduates and early-career researchers) from all areas of
linguistics, whether dealing with one specific area, merging two
subfields (e.g., 'morphosyntax', 'computational phonology'), or even
branching out into other areas (e.g., 'anthropological linguistics').
Creativity is welcomed!
The event will include a panel discussion, oral and poster
presentations by graduate students and early career researchers,
lightning talks, and opportunities for networking and socialising.
LingO 2023 is geared towards graduate students and early career
researchers, though all are welcome to attend.
Call for Papers:
Our Call for Papers is now open. To apply, please submit an electronic
