Meeting Description:

PacSLRF 2023 Conference is driven by a mission to provide the
international platform for idea exchanges, insights, experience, and
expertise in work pertaining to second language acquisition (SLA) and
practical and innovative approaches and methodology in diverse
language teaching and learning environments. This year’s conference
theme of “Cognitive and Behavioral Abilities of L2/Ln Learners” would
also provide the avenue for academic and professional development
dialogues and deliberation of pertinent issues pertaining to our
knowledge of human cognition and behavioral abilities that can
potentially contribute to the foundation underlying practicing and
investigating second language pedagogy and instruction. Notably, the
main goal in second language (L2) research is to establish an account
of the system that enables L2 learners to acquire and produce their
target language, and this system is largely concerned with L2
cognition or emotional processes manifested through L2 learners’
behaviors.

These concerns are in consonance with the dynamism of current global
environment in which language users are opted to utilize their
cognitive demands and abilities to accomplish authentic and classroom
language-related tasks. As such, there is a need to prepare our young
graduates and relearn the established with the research-driven
practices that contribute to language learners’ cognition development
for the 21st century. Therefore, we would like to extend our
invitation to established and news academics, educators,
professionals, language practitioners, teachers, teacher trainers,
postgraduates and undergraduates, representatives from government
agencies, industries, corporate bodies, and non-governmental
organisations to participate in this conference and submit abstracts
for presentations for this PacSLRF 2023 Conference.
