Research Fellow in Language Didactics (Postdoctoral) at the Tallinn
University School of Humanities contributes to research in one of the
following areas:
 - language and content learning, pluriliteracy;
 - (language) education in multilingual classroom.

The outcome of the postdoctoral fellow's research should be applicable
to both teacher education and in-service training to support the
transition from Russian and Estonian language to Estonian-language
education.

The Postdoctoral Fellow is expected to contribute to the collaborative
research in one of the two areas described above at Tallinn
University. The Fellow is expected to:
 - design and plan the study,
 - collect and analyse data,
 - publish and present results.

Tallinn University is the largest humanities teaching university in
Tallinn and the third largest public university in Estonia. Tallinn
University primarily offers and develops education and science in
Estonian and based on Estonian needs, but considering what is
happening in higher education, internationalization also plays an
important role. Wanting to achieve better harmony with society's
needs, we have set ourselves the goal of becoming a leader of a smart
lifestyle in Estonia. A smart way of life primarily means
science-based decisions for the better functioning of both society and
the citizen.
