Meeting Description:

Following the success of the I Colloque International d'applications
de la linguistique de corpus dans la didactique de langues, held at
Université Sorbonne Nouvelle (Paris), this second edition aims to
bring together again linguists, teachers and researchers in corpus
linguistics, with the intention of presenting corpora as tools for
teaching and learning native and L2-languages.

Participants will be specialists in corpus linguistics, such as corpus
builders and researchers from different Spanish and European
universities. We aim to provide a space to share new ideas between
researchers and teachers, to disseminate new corpora and show
innovative proposals on the use of corpora as a didactic tool, in
order to promote their use in language teaching. To this end, corpora
of different languages and typologies will be presented: L1 and L2
corpora, synchronic and diachronic corpora, parallel corpora,
translation corpora, etc. Examples of didactic exploitation and
practical proposals for teaching will also be presented, with the
latest advances in studies on corpus linguistics in language teaching
and acquisition.
