Hello Linguist List!

Welcome back to the Linguist List Challenge update! We are at $14,400
and have plenty of room to grow. Help us get to our goal by donating,
big or small. We could not be here without you.

Now let’s look at the leaderboard!

In the Subfield Challenge, Syntax has held onto its first-place
ranking! We then have Phonology at $1,221, Pragmatics at $1,087,
Semantics at $890, and Sociolinguistics at $855. The race is still
tight with places 5 through 9 within just over $100 of each other.
Make sure to get your donations in and set your subfield apart!

In the University Challenge, Stanford keeps the lead, followed by
Wayne State University and the University of South Carolina. We also
see contributions from University of Oregon, Bielefeld University,
University of Potsdam, and Carleton University. We have donations from
so many different universities and the support is felt! We have 46
universities all within $50 of each other! Help us push to our goal,
get your donations in, and get your school to the top!

In the Country Challenge, the United States holds the lead! In its
company are Uganda, Sweden, Norway, Mexico, Slovenia, Indonesia, and
Lithuania! We have 19 countries within $50 of each other so make sure
to get your country on the rise by supporting Linguist List. Every
dollar counts in a tight race like this!
