Timed to align with the UN's International Day of the World's
Indigenous Peoples on August 9 and framed within the International
Decade of Indigenous Languages, De Gruyter Mouton is pleased to
announce a special collection exploring Indigenous languages through
their documentation, revitalization, education and culture.

For one month (until September 10, 2024), we are offering free access
to a selection of book chapters and journal articles on the following
topics:

• Language Revitalization and Maintenance
• Language Education
• Indigenous Languages in Contact
• Language Documentation
• Language and Culture in Indigenous Communities
• Theorizing with Indigenous Languages

Curated by our editorial team, the collection underscores the urgent
need to maintain and promote Indigenous languages. Scholars and
practitioners will find valuable insights and practical approaches for
supporting the vitality of Indigenous languages and contributing to
the preservation of linguistic diversity worldwide.
