Meeting Description:
On Friday, November 8, 2024, the Dutch Association for Phonetic
Sciences organizes its annual Phonetics Day, in Utrecht.
Call for Papers:
We invite submissions on current and recently finished phonetic
research within the empirical tradition, and/or demonstrations of new
applications or methods within the field of speech science.
Abstracts will be anonymized for review and judged for empirical or
practical relevance, clarity and completeness (i.e. research question,
hypotheses, methods, availability of results, and –especially for new
methods/software- possible applications).
If you have a contribution, in English or Dutch, we would like to
receive a title and a summary of approximately 250 words by Tuesday,
October 1st, at nvfw at rug.nl. You may indicate your preference for an
oral or poster presentation, but eventually, the NVFW board will
decide on the programme.
The board will send out a decision on October 18th at the latest.
