Meeting Description:

The Department of Linguistics at Purdue University is announcing its
annual Purdue Linguistics Symposium (PLS) 2025. We invite scholars
working within all theoretical and applied areas of linguistics to
submit their research and join us at PLS 2025. Topics include, but are
not limited to syntax, semantics, syntax-semantics interface,
phonetics, phonology, morphology, L2 acquisition, bilingualism,
pragmatics, historical linguistics, sociolinguistics, sign language,
and corpus linguistics. PLS 2025 will be held in person on the West
Lafayette campus of Purdue University.

Call for Papers:

Abstracts for individual presentations and poster presentations should
be limited to 500 words (excluding title and references) and should
fit on a single page, single-spaced, 12-point Times New Roman font. An
additional page containing references, tables, figures, or examples
may also be included. Abstracts must not contain any identifying
information.

Important Dates:

Abstract submission open: November 28th, 2024
Abstract submission deadline: February 7th, 2025
Author notifications: week of February 24th, 2025
Registration deadline: March 14th, 2025
