The Department of English Philology at the Georg-August-Universität
Göttingen is seeking to fill the position of a Lecturer (f/m/d)
with 100% of the regular weekly working hours (currently 39.8
hours/week) for a fixed term starting at the 1 April 2025 until 30
September 2026. The salary will be paid according to pay group 13
TV-L. The position is suitable for part-time work.
Your tasks:
- to hold courses on aspects of use of English, together with the
enquired exams, according to § 31 NHG. The current teaching hours are
fixed at 18 weekly lecture hours or nine two-hour courses.
Your profile:
You …
- have completed a university programme in a subject or sub-area
relevant to the position;
- a native speaker of English or have equivalent competence in English
(C2);
- have teaching experience in the field of English language practice
at university level;
- have a relevant qualification in the field of TEFL/TESOL;
- have a high level of social, intercultural and organisational
skills;
- have good language skills in German.
