The Department of Linguistics and Cognitive Science at Pomona College
is hosting the Pomona Acquisition Workshop (PAW) on February 23, 2024.
The purpose of the workshop is to bring together linguists in Southern
California who are working on language acquisition, including first
and second language acquisition, bilingualism, and heritage language
acquisition. This workshop is intended for graduate students in
particular, as an opportunity to showcase their research and receive
feedback from others.
2nd Call for Papers:
**Call Extended to 1/31/2024**
The Department of Linguistics and Cognitive Science at Pomona College
is hosting the Pomona Acquisition Workshop (PAW) on February 23, 2024.
The purpose of the workshop is to bring together linguists in Southern
California who are working on language acquisition, including first
and second language acquisition, bilingualism, and heritage language
acquisition. This workshop is intended for graduate students in
particular, as an opportunity to showcase their research and receive
feedback from others.
At this time we welcome submissions for both oral presentations and
posters. Students are encouraged to submit work in progress. Please
note that we will be limiting submissions to individuals in Southern
California.
Abstracts should be 500 words, including examples.

email the following information: your full name, your affiliation, and
if you would like to be considered for a talk or poster (or both).
