Meeting Description:

We welcome you to participate in the 1st Eurasian Congress of
Linguists, to be held in Moscow, Russia, Dec. 9-13, 2024. A major
international forum, organized on the initiative of the Institute of
Linguistics RAS with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher
Education of the Russian Federation, the Congress is one in a series
of academic activities to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the
Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS).

The mission of the Congress is to provide a venue where linguists from
all over the world could share the results of their research and
present their findings addressing the most topical issues of language
studies. One of the objectives of the Congress is to introduce young
scholars to the latest advances in the language sciences in all their
diversity. Broader audiences will be able to enjoy public discussions
on socially important aspects of linguistics during the Congress as
well.

Due to numerous requests, the Program Committee of the First Eurasian
Congress of Linguists (Moscow, 9-13 December, 2024) has decided to
extend the deadline for abstract submission. The new deadline is: July
20, 2024. We would like to attract your attention to the fact that the
organizers intend to cover travel and accommodation expenses of the
accepted international participants. Also, the Program Committee has
decided to relax the fully in-person character of the Congress. If you
can possibly participate in the Congress in the online format only,
you could still submit an abstract and inform us about your
limitations using the field “Comments”. Full information about the
