more, allowing our customers to extend their brand in new and
meaningful ways.

The Data Programs team validates language data and provides language,
linguistic and phonetic input to our ASR and NLU engineering teams,
directly working with them to train and test our speech models and NLU
results. We advocate for our customers and their end users to ensure a
satisfying voice user experience, from the recognition of speech
queries/commands, to the responses from our NLU systems.

In this role, you will:
 - Actively contribute to language tasks needed to support and improve
our technology
 - Validate speech training data, curate pronunciation dictionaries,
produce phonetic transcriptions, define phonological rules, and
analysis of test results
 - Have the opportunity to contribute to the creation and adaptation
of best practices, processes, and procedures as we grow the team
 - Work collaboratively with peers and managers, and help further
expand our language coverage

We would love to hear from you if:
 - You have native-level proficiency in Kannada or Telugu (written,
verbal, and grammar)
 - You are trained in language studies, phonetics, and/or have a
language degree, degree in Linguistics, or equivalent experience
 - You are extremely focused and enjoy completing detailed, repetitive
data quality verification tasks daily at a very high-quality level
 - You are flexible and collaborative, but you can also work

 - You are accountable, taking 100% ownership with extremely high
attention to detail and follow-through
 - You are skilled in problem identification, problem-solving skills,
and pattern recognition, particularly in languages
 - You are able to successfully communicate and navigate around
ambiguity and changes in aspects of projects, including resources,
priorities, risks, and dependencies

We’d be especially excited if you have experience working with various
phonetic transcription systems, are familiar with capturing
phonological rules, have worked with training data for machine
learning, have project management/coordination experience, and have
experience working with external business partners and vendors.
