Meeting Description:

This edition of the COMPILA meetings is focused on language as a
complex adaptive system. More in detail, it will focus on how methods
of dynamical systems and statistical mechanics can be applied to gain
insight into linguistic phenomena. COMPILA2024 is expected to have an
even more interdisciplinary character. It will be a forum of
discussions of interest to a broad interdisciplinary community of
quantitative linguists, interdisciplinary physicists, applied
mathematicians, computational sociolinguistics, and complex systems
scientists.
