Meeting Description:
Within the framework of the LANGUAGE TREE project, we are pleased to
announce that the 2nd International Symposium on Teaching Turkish as a
Heritage and Foreign Language will be held by the Association of
Turkish Teaching as a Foreign Language (YADOT) and will take place at
Istanbul Bilgi University on September 21–22, 2024 in Istanbul.
We are inviting proposals for papers, posters and panels on all fields
of teaching Turkish as a heritage language and as a foreign language.
Conference languages are English and Turkish. Paper, poster and panel
proposals can be submitted between May 15 and July 21, 2024. All
papers will be subject to a blind review process. The results will be
announced by September 1, 2024. For detailed information, including
guidance on the submission of abstracts and panel proposals, please
consult the connected web pages. We are looking forward to meeting you
in Istanbul. The Language Tree Project Symposium Organizing Team

We are looking for submissions for presentations, posters, and panels
on all aspects of teaching Turkish as a heritage language and a
second/foreign language.
The conference languages are English and Turkish.
Submission instructions:
Abstract submission guidelines for ISOHTEL 2024:
- Please use the Abstract template for your oral presentation, poster,
and round table submissions. The template is available on the
conference website under the "submit abstract" section.
- Please do not add authors’ names to the abstract.
- Abstracts should comprise around 400-500 words (including examples
and references).
- Please highlight your presentation type (face-to-face or online).
- All abstract submissions should be made through EasyAbs.
Topics may cover, but not limited to:
