Subject: Recruiting Cantonese speakers in and around Vancouver (pay CAD35)


The ‘Cantonese speech development’ project by Prof. Peggy Mok at The
Chinese University of Hong Kong is recruiting adult Cantonese speakers
aged between 18 and 28 who were born in Canada, grew up in and around
Vancouver, and have at least one parent who grew up speaking Cantonese
in Hong Kong. The study will be conducted via Zoom, including five
tasks, which will last around 1.5 hours. You will need to record one
task with your mobile phone. The results of the receptive vocabulary
test will be provided for reference. You will be compensated with a
$35 Amazon eGift card for participation.
