Description:
The EMLAR workshop aims at training PhD students and advanced MA
students in methods of experimental language research and/or first and
second language acquisition. Experts in various domains of language
acquisition research will give lectures and hands-on tutorials that
can be followed both in-person as online via MS Teams.
Speakers will give method-oriented talks during plenary sessions. We
also offer hands-on tutorials on automatic speech recognition,
Bayesian statistics, CHILDES, computational modelling, ERP, Eye
Tracking, Praat, R, and more.
This year's keynote speaker is Prof Simon Fisher (Language and
Genetics, Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behavior).
