Meeting Description:
This special session seeks proposals that explore pedagogical
practices related to the challenges and new trends of teaching Spanish
language, Hispanic literature, and culture in university and high
school programs.
We welcome proposals that discuss but are not limited to, teaching
approaches beyond the pandemic, emerging teaching practices, the
application of AI in the language classroom, the use of technology and
social media, decolonizing the curriculum, curricular innovation,
heritage language instruction and learning, teaching Spanish for
specific purposes, hybrid teaching formats, literature in translation,
film, and other media, new evaluation and certification models,
community-based learning, and study abroad.
