The conference series is dedicated to all kinds of applications of
phonetics for human activities and focuses on a wide range of areas of
applied phonetics, including, but not exclusive to:

- clinical phonetics
- speech technology
- speech pathology
- forensic phonetics

The 5th International Symposium on Applied Phonetics (ISAPh 2024)
University of Tartu, Estonia, 30 September ‒ 2 October 2024
**Abstract deadline extended until 7 April 2024**
The abstract submission for the 5th International Symposium on Applied
Phonetics will be open until 7 April 2024. We invite authors to submit
an anonymous two-page abstract via EasyChair
https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=isaph2024. The abstract
template can be found on the conference website:
https://isaph2024.ut.ee/.
The conference welcomes contributions related to all areas of applied
phonetics, including, but not limited to topics such as pronunciation
teaching, acquisition of L2 pronunciation, first language acquisition,
accent coaching, sociophonetics, clinical phonetics, speech
technology, speech pathology, forensic phonetics, phonetics
pedagogy.
Accepted papers, following the Interspeech template, will be published
in the conference proceedings in the ISCA archive after the
conference. The deadline for full paper submission is 15 November
2024. More information about the publication of the proceedings will
be provided during the conference.
