Department of Linguistics UIUC is seeking a Visiting Assistant
Professor of Phonology to fulfill teaching responsibilities of three
courses per semester, covering undergraduate and graduate levels with
emphasis on Phonology and related Linguistic topics. For appointment
as Visiting Assistant Professor, the successful candidate must hold a
PhD in Linguistics or a related field with specialization in
Phonology, possess familiarity with current theoretical models, and
demonstrate effective teaching skills. An ABD will be appointed as an
Instructor. Preferred qualifications include additional expertise in
areas such as Second Language Acquisition, Bilingualism, Prosody,
Acoustic Phonetics, Articulatory Phonetics, and/or
