Subject: Looking for Native English speakers fluent in French and Native monolingual English speakers in London


Participants (aged 18-45) needed for a research study on the role of
language in cognitive processing.

At King’s College London, at the Education, Communication & Society, a
new study investigating the role of language on thought will take
place.

Who can take part?
Anyone aged 18-45 with normal (or corrected-to-normal vision), no
colour blindness or any language/brain disorder.
We are looking for:

•       Native monolingual English speakers (that have very little/or
no knowledge of any other language and never lived abroad for more
than 6 months)
•       Native English speakers fluent in French

Dates: from May 20th to June 20th, 2024

Description: During the study, you will sit in front of a computer
screen and perform a series of linguistic and cognitive tasks by
watching videos/pictures and pressing buttons on a keyboard. Some of
the experiments include the recording of your voice and the use of
sensors to record the position of your eyes. Participation will be
remunerated at 7£ per hour.
