The next GSCP (Gruppo di Studio sulla Comunicazione Parlata)
International Conference, "La Comunicazione Parlata / Spoken
Communication, Foggia 2025", will be held in Foggia from 19 to 21 June
2025 and it will be hosted by the University of Foggia.

Call for Papers:

For this conference, acceptable themes regarding spoken communication
include the following areas:
▪ phono-acustic and prosodic dimension
▪ morphosyntactic dimension
▪ lexical dimension
▪ semantic dimension
▪ pragmatic dimension
▪ sociolinguistic dimension
▪ acquisitional dimension
▪ educational dimension
▪ ethnolinguistic and anthropological dimension
▪ interactional dimension
▪ multimodal dimension
▪ signed communication
▪ expressing emotions
▪ speech-language pathologies
▪ ontogeny and phylogeny of language
▪ history of the studies on spoken communication
▪ tools and techniques

Languages of the conference: Italian and English

Abstract submission:

Scholars interested in presenting papers at the conference are invited
to submit an abstract (approximately 600-1000 words) of their proposed
presentation to congressogscp2025 at unifg.it.
The email should contain the following information: title of the
paper, name and email of the author(s), the preferred kind of
presentation (oral presentation or poster), key words, thematic areas
(more than one listed above can be indicated).
Proposals will be anonymously submitted to the Scientific Committee,
which will decide whether and in what form each contribution will be
presented.

The deadline for abstract submission is 28th of February 2025.
The notifications of abstract acceptance will be sent out by 28th of
March 2025
