Hosted by the Department of French Studies at Concordia University in
Montreal, Canada, the 11th International Conference on Second Language
Pedagogies (SLPC11) is a multi-disciplinary meeting designed to
rethink second language teaching and learning. Focusing on the theme
“Arts and Language Teaching: Meeting Places”, the 11th edition of SLPC
invites participants to explore the intersections and convergences
between different disciplines. The aim is to experiment with creative
approaches, and exchange on practices that foster rich and stimulating
language immersion, with a view to renewing didactic perspectives and
responding to contemporary challenges in language teaching.

Organisé par le Département d’études françaises de l'Université
Concordia à Montréal au Canada, le 11e Colloque international sur la
didactique des langues secondes (CIDLS11) est une rencontre
pluridisciplinaire destinée à repenser les méthodes d'enseignement et
d'apprentissage des langues secondes. Se concentrant sur le thème «
Arts et didactique des langues : lieux de rencontres », la 11e édition
du CIDLS invite les participantes et les participants à explorer les
intersections et les convergences entre différentes disciplines.
L’objectif est d’expérimenter des approches créatives, et d’échanger
sur des pratiques qui favorisent une immersion linguistique riche et
stimulante, dans le but de renouveler les perspectives didactiques et
de répondre aux défis contemporains de l'enseignement des langues.
