Meeting Description:
Following the tremendous success of TELIC 2023, where we welcomed over
400 participants from 60 countries, we are thrilled to announce the
Call for Proposals for TELIC 2024! Last year’s conference demonstrated
the incredible diversity and innovation within the field of
technology-enhanced language learning, and we look forward to building
on that momentum. TELIC 2024 will once again be an international,
open-access, and fully virtual event, hosted by the University of
Texas Permian Basin on Microsoft Teams. The conference aims to provide
a global platform for researchers, educators, and professionals to
share their work and insights. With the rapid advancements in
technology, we anticipate even more groundbreaking proposals,
particularly related to Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its
transformative role in language learning.
Scope of the Conference: The conference embraces a wide definition of
technology to fully explore its vast potential in language learning.
>From traditional classroom tools to advanced software and emerging
innovations, technology spans a broad spectrum. TELIC 2024 encourages
submissions on any topic related to technology's role in language
education, including digital resources, online learning platforms,
virtual and augmented reality, social media, and artificial
intelligence (AI). This broad approach aims to create an inclusive and
dynamic environment where participants can share diverse perspectives
and innovative ideas from across the technological landscape.
