- Anyone passionate about field linguistics and language documentation
who would like to work in a team

Focus: Focus:
- Field methods & glossing sessions
- Team-based work with native speakers of Tsova-Tush
- Hands-on linguistic analysis (morphosyntax, phonology, semantics)

Description:

The CauLaGe Summer Program is an intensive linguistic expedition.
Participants will engage in fieldwork, linguistic analysis, and
workshops led by experts in the field. While it is focused on a
Caucasian language, the program is open to anyone who wants to gain
hands-on experience in language documentation and analysis while
working closely with native speakers.
Program Structure
- Mornings: Courses on general linguistics and Tsova-Tush grammar,
covering all major subfields
- Afternoons: Supervised team-based fieldwork sessions with Tsova-Tush
speakers, led by experienced researchers
- Evenings: Debrief session

Financial Aid Applications accepted until 15-May-2025

Partial financial aid is available to help students cover living costs
in Zemo Alvani and will be granted upon completion of the selection
process

Financial Aid Instructions:
Students may apply for financial aid by submitting a letter signed by
their supervisor, confirming that they do not receive funding from
their university and specifying the requested amount.

Mandatory registration fee: 50 euros per person.
