Journal: H2D - Journal of Digital Humanities
Issue: Volume 7

The H2D Digital Humanities Journal invites researchers, educators, and
professionals to submit articles and other original contributions for
Volume 7 (2025), a continuous publication. As an interdisciplinary
journal, H2D fosters dialogue and innovation in the field of Digital
Humanities, exploring the impact of technologies on research,
teaching, and professional practice.
The journal seeks to bridge the gap between the humanities and
technological advancements, addressing contemporary challenges aligned
with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda. With
an interinstitutional editorial team from Portugal, Brazil, and
Angola, H2D values diverse perspectives, with a special focus on the
Lusophone context.
Topics of Interest
Submissions are welcome on various topics, including but not limited
to:
 - Digital Humanities and Emerging Technologies (LLMs, NLP, Topic
Modeling, Opinion Mining)
 - Open Science and Digital Repositories (Open Access, Digital
Archives & Libraries, Terminology Extraction)
 - Computational Methods and Data Analysis (Corpora, Statistical
Analysis, Web Scraping Techniques)
 - Visualization and Digital Interaction (Interactive Dashboards,
Multimodal Communication, User-Centered Design)
 - Digital Content Creation and Curation (Digital Editing,
Infographics, Podcasts, Videos)
Journal Sections
H2D accepts contributions for the following sections:
 - Articles – Long articles (up to 10,000 words) or short articles
(2,000 to 3,000 words).
 - H2D Live – Audiovisual publications.
 - Miscellanea – Interviews, reviews, and other multimodal formats.
Submission and Accepted Languages
Submissions and publications follow a continuous flow and can be made
through the portal:

We accept contributions in Portuguese, Spanish, French, Italian, or
English.
We invite all interested parties to contribute to the development of
Digital Humanities, contributing to an innovative and
interdisciplinary space for knowledge exchange.
