Minimum Education Level: Masters in Linguistics or allied disciplines

Focus: The summer school is a part of the CHAMP (Charting Honorific
and Addressee Morphosyntactic Processes) initiative. CHAMP serves as a
platform for scholars to discuss current theoretical work on the
interface between syntax and pragmatics and to enquire about the
extent to which structure encodes elements of discourse. The invited
speakers are Rajesh Bhatt, Pritha Chandra, Roberta D’Alessandro,
Shigeru Miyagawa, and Martina Wiltschko.
Description:
We invite you to participate in the online summer school ‘The Syntax
of Discourse’ organized by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)
Delhi. The three-day event will take place from 2nd to 4th July 2025.
