The first Latin American Conference on Eye Movements (LACEM 2025) will
take place in Viña del Mar, Chile, from December 10th to 12th, 2025.
Organized by the Language & Cognition Laboratory at Pontificia
Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, LACEM aims to establish an
international platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration. The
conference invites researchers from diverse basic and applied fields
using eye-tracking, including psychology, linguistics,
neurophysiology, computer science, education, marketing, and beyond.
The conference will focus on research topics relevant to Latin America
and languages spoken in Latin America.
This conference will be in person, so that we can maximize interaction
among all attendees. The program will include two keynotes, as well as
15-minute oral presentations and poster sessions each day. The
conference will also offer pre-conference workshops on eye-tracking
data collection and analysis (more details to follow).
