Subject: Call for Nominations: Glossa Psycholinguistics Editors in Chief
Dear Colleagues,
Glossa Psycholinguistics is seeking nominations for two Editors in
Chief (EiC). The EiC(s) will have overall responsibility for
management and creative direction of the journal. Leadership and
management of the journal is team-based, and involves substantial
support from the team of Associate Editors, as well as the Managing
Editors (out-going Editors in Chief). The role involves managing all
aspects of journal finances, submissions, review, copy-editing and
publication. This involves i) taking creative control of the journal,
ii) managing the pre-publication editorial process for manuscripts
submitted to the journal, iii) managing the post-publication process
with the assistance of the Managing Editors, iv) managing journal
finances, and v) ensuring that the journal is run according to the
Glossa Psycholinguistics constitution.
Glossa Psycholinguistics is a Diamond Open Access Journal that was
founded in 2020 as the outcome of an open deliberative process in the
psycholinguistics community; the EiC role presents an opportunity to
shape the realization of the journal's forward-looking vision for
academic publishing. The journal publishes contributions to the field
of psycholinguistics in the broad sense. Articles in Glossa
Psycholinguistics combine empirical and theoretical perspectives to
illuminate our understanding of the nature of language. Submissions
from all fields and theoretical perspectives on any psycholinguistic
topic are appropriate, as are submissions focusing on any level of
linguistic analysis (sounds, words, sentences, etc.) or population
(adults, children, multilingual language users, late learners, etc.).
Nominations, including self-nominations, can be made via the following
short form. To receive full consideration, nominations should be made
on or before May 14, 2025.

General questions can be directed to the current Editors in Chief
Fernanda Ferreira (fferreira at ucdavis.edu) and Brian Dillon
(bwdillon at umass.edu). Questions about the nomination form can be
directed to Jonathan Brennan (jobrenn at umich.edu) on behalf of the
Associate Editors.
Thank you,
