In 2015, UN member states adopted Sustainable Development Goals to
improve life globally by 2030. Goal 4 targets quality education for
all, with emphasis on global citizenship and sustainable development.
We explore: What role can intercultural communicative language
education play in promoting sustainability? What might this education
look like? What implications exist for teachers and learners?
CERCLL invites proposals for papers, symposia, posters and workshops
(in-person/virtual) addressing these themes. Choose from strands:
theoretical approaches, assessment, curricula/instruction, technology,
policy, exchanges, service learning, or professional development.
Submit proposals: https://icc.cercll.arizona.edu/cfp26/
Proposals due: August 11, 2025
Hosted by CERCLL and co-sponsored by College of Humanities, SLAT,
College of Social Sciences, Arizona International, CEAS, LAS, CMES
