Language Teaching Futures invites submissions for upcoming issues. We
are an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to
forward-looking research, theory, and practice in language education.
Our mission is to explore how language teaching can anticipate and

future of language teaching and learning.
Themes of interest include (but are not limited to):
1. Futures Thinking in Language Education

institutional transformation.
2. Sustainability and Ecological Approaches
Research that integrates environmental, ethical, and social
sustainability into language curricula and educational policy.
3. Psychological and Cognitive Dimensions
Investigations into affect, motivation, cognition, well-being, and
resilience in language teaching and learning.
4. L2 Skills Development

speaking, writing, reading, listening, and interactional competence.

Purposes (EAP), English for Specific Purposes (ESP), and
Sociolinguistics, especially where they intersect with future-focused
pedagogical implications.
