Wanneer?
Op vrijdag 31 oktober 2025 organiseert de Nederlandse Vereniging voor
Fonetische Wetenschappen weer de jaarlijkse Dag van de Fonetiek.
We willen u van harte uitnodigen een bijdrage in te dienen voor een
presentatie. Deze kan gaan over lopend of recent-afgerond fonetisch
onderzoek binnen de empirisch-wetenschappelijke traditie, en/of
demonstraties van nieuwe applicaties of methodes op het gebied van
spraakonderzoek. Ingediende abstracts worden geanonimiseerd beoordeeld
op empirische dan wel praktische relevantie, en op helderheid en
volledigheid (d.w.z. vraagstelling, hypotheses, methode,
beschikbaarheid van resultaten en - met name bij nieuwe applicaties -
mogelijke toepassingen).
Indien u een bijdrage heeft, in het Nederlands of Engels, ontvangen
wij graag uiterlijk vrijdag 19 september 2025 een titel en
samenvatting (±250 woorden), gericht aan nvfw at rug.nl. Wilt u aangeven
of u een voorkeur heeft voor een mondelinge presentatie of een
posterpresentatie? Uiteindelijk gaat echter het bestuur over het
definitieve programma.
Inzenders worden uiterlijk op vrijdag 3 oktober van de beslissing op
de hoogte gesteld.

When?
On Friday, 31 October 2025, the Dutch Association for Phonetic
Sciences organizes its annual Phonetics Day.
We would like to invite submissions on current and recently finished
phonetic research within the empirical tradition, and/or
demonstrations of new applications or methods within the field of
speech science. Abstracts will be anonymized for review and judged for
empirical or practical relevance, clarity and completeness (i.e.,
research question, hypotheses, methods, availability of results, and
–especially for new methods/software– possible applications).
If you have a contribution, in English or Dutch, we would like to
receive a title and a summary of approximately 250 words by Friday, 19
September, at nvfw at rug.nl. You may indicate your preference for an
oral or poster presentation, but eventually the NVFW board will decide
on the programme.
The board will inform you of their decision on Friday, 3 October at
the latest.
