2nd Call for Papers:
We are happy to announce that the 13th edition of the International
Word Processing Conference (WoProc 2026) will take place in Lisbon,
Portugal, on 6–8 July 2026.
WoProc 2026 continues the legacy of the International Morphological
Processing Conference (MoProc), a biennial event that, since 1999, has
brought together researchers from around the world to exchange ideas
and discuss advances in morphological processing. As in the previous
edition, the scope of the conference has been broadened to include
contributions on all aspects of word processing.
We are pleased to welcome the following keynote speakers to WoProc
2026:
– Davide Crepaldi (University of Pavia, Italy)
– Jana Reifegerste (Georgetown University, USA)
We will also hold a two-day post-conference workshop on 9–10 July,
directed at PhD students and early-career researchers, on "Bayesian
statistics for word processing research," led by João Veríssimo.
Call for Papers:
We welcome abstract submissions for talk or poster presentations on
all aspects of word processing (including within sentence contexts).
While the primary focus remains on psycholinguistic research, we also
encourage work from neurocognitive, computational, and related
perspectives.
Abstract Submissions: Please submit your abstract via OpenReview at
https://openreview.net/group?id=WoProc/2026/Conference
Formatting guidelines and templates for LaTeX, Word, and LibreOffice
formats are available on our website: https://www.woproc2026.com
Submission Deadline: 6 February 2026
