Call Deadline: 18-Dec-2025

Final Call for Papers:
Are you a doctoral or postdoctoral researcher working on negation?
Join us for a two-day conference dedicated to exploring negation from
diverse theoretical and empirical perspectives. Engage with peers,
share your findings, and contribute to a vibrant exchange of ideas on
one of the most intriguing phenomena in language and logic.
The conference has two main goals: to foster exchange among doctoral
and postdoctoral researchers working on negation and to investigate
negation from a range of theoretical and empirical perspectives. By
bringing together young researchers from different disciplines and
methodological backgrounds, the event offers a space for feedback,
discussion, and collaboration, encouraging new ways of thinking about
how negation functions in language and cognition.
We invite contributions offering theoretical and/or empirical insights
into the acquisition, processing, and realization of negation from the
perspectives of various subdisciplines of linguistics, including
syntax, morphology, phonology, semantics, and pragmatics, as well as
cognitive sciences.
Only a few days remain before we reach the submission deadline: 18
