Special Issue: AI in language professions and education: Where do we
stand? Where are we headed?
The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming
language professions and education, raising critical questions about
its impact on translation, interpreting, language teaching,
terminology, language learning, assessment and research. This special
issue invites contributions that explore AI-driven changes in these
fields, addressing theoretical, pedagogical, and practical
perspectives.
We welcome original research articles, case studies, and critical
reviews on topics including but not limited to:
- AI-assisted translation and interpreting
- AI in linguistics, language teaching, assessment, and curriculum
design
- AI and terminology and terminography work and approaches
- AI’s role in literary analysis and creative writing
- Ethical, legal and professional considerations in AI-driven
language work
- Approaches and implications of integrating AI tools in language and
translation education
Proposals: Please submit a single-paragraph abstracts of approximately
500 words in one of the journal's languages and English (proofread),
with 6 to 8 keywords to logoslittera at live.com. Please indicate clearly
that the proposal is for the special volume. Abstracts should be
self-contained single paragraphs and clearly report findings.

Abstract deadline: 1 April 2026
Acceptance of abstract proposals: 1 May 2026
Submission of papers (proofread): 1 July 2026
Acceptance of the papers: 31 November 2026
