This is the Call for Papers for Issue 2 (2026) of Computational
Linguistics in Bulgaria, a newly established annual open access
journal published by the Department of Computational Linguistics at
the Institute for Bulgarian Language, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.

Aim and Scope:
The journal aims to reflect the growing importance of language
technologies in the digital age and to showcase advances in
computational linguistics research in Bulgaria and internationally.
It features research on all areas of theoretical computational
linguistics, as well as on currently available resources, datasets,
and technologies for natural language processing and artificial
intelligence.
The journal focuses on innovative approaches and methods, particularly
those applicable to small and low-resource languages such as
Bulgarian, with the aim of bridging the gap between large and small
languages in the field of language technologies.
In addition to full-length articles, the journal also accepts short
papers and book reviews.
Submitted articles undergo double-blind peer review.
The journal editors adhere to the COPE Code of Conduct for Journal
Editors and refer reviewers to the COPE Ethical Guidelines for Peer
Reviewers.
All articles are published as open access under a Creative Commons
Attribution 4.0 (CC-BY 4.0) licence.

their submissions:
