Subject: Participation Invitation: Interview in Moroccan Arabic

I'm Abdennour Sabiri, a PhD candidate from Hassan II University,
Morocco.
One research project we are working on is related to how foreigners
speak Moroccan Arabic, and would like to invite participants willing
to take part in a sociolinguistic interview. The interview will be
done in Moroccan Arabic, but regardless of your speaking proficiency,
don't be afraid to give it a shot. The interview is expected to take
30min to 2 hours depending on your willingness. We call it an
interview, but you can just think of it as a trip down memory lane.
Your participation will contribute to our holistic understanding of
how foreigners from different backgrounds speak Moroccan Arabic as an
L2. This includes, for example, how different L1s transfer to MA and
the resulting errors. As a result, the implications drawn from this
research will inform our decisions related to MA language learning and
curriculum design among other things. You will be free to decline
participation at any point before, during, or after the interview, and
any collected data related to you will be completely purged.
If at all you are interested or know someone who is, send an email to
abdennour.sabiri-etu at etu.univh2c.ma
Thank you for your contributions, and we are looking forward to your
participation.
