Subject: Linguistic Open Access Forum at ZAS, Berlin
The Leibniz-Centre General Linguistics (ZAS) will host a forum for
researchers, students, and organizations interested in open access
publishing of linguistic materials. The goal of the forum is to
increase the quantity and quality of non-profit open access publishing
in linguistics. Publishing initiatives, linguistics students and
researchers who share the following interests are invited to attend
the forum
- recruit researchers to non-commercial open access publishing
- network with non-profit initiatives in linguistics
- recruit linguists to volunteer for open access initiatives
- share information about funding opportunities for open access
The forum is scheduled for May 7th, 2015 from 14:00 to 17:30 and will
take place at the ZAS facilities at Pariser Str. 1 in
Berlin-Wilmersdorf, Germany.
**Keynote Speaker** Professor Johan ROORYCK, Leiden University,
executive director of cOAlition S and editor in chief of Glossa
ZAS invites non-profit organizations that are active in the area of
open access publishing of linguistic materials to exhibit at the
