The 20th Annual Meeting of the Slavic Linguistics Society will take

We invite submissions for:
- individual papers for the general session;
- panel proposals for thematic sessions.
Abstracts for individual papers should be limited to 500 words, not
including figures or references.
Panel proposals should provide (1) an abstract for the whole panel
limited to 1000 words, (2) a list of the names, emails and
affiliations of the panel participants and (3) titles of the talks in
the panel. Conference panels will be 2 hours, so panel proposals will
typically include 4 (or 8) individual presenters who will give
20-minute talks followed by discussion.
Papers dealing with any aspect of Slavic linguistics and within any
theoretical framework or methodology are welcome.
All talks will be 20 minutes in length with 5 minutes for discussion
and 5 minutes for room change. Abstracts should be written in English.
The abstract itself should be anonymous (no identifying information,
e.g., name, affiliation, self-reference).
Submission:
- Abstracts should be submitted via Oxford Abstracts
(https://auth.oxfordabstracts.com/?redirect=/stages/77504/submitter).
- Submissions are limited to one single-authored and one jointly
authored abstract per applicant.
- Panel proposals should be emailed directly to

entered into consideration for student travel awards and the annual
Townsend award.
Deadline for abstract submission: May 1, 2025.
Notification of acceptance: Early June 2025
SLS-20 is an in-person conference. If any authors are likely to need a
