M.A. E-LINGO - Teaching English to Young Learners
► is a part-time two-year post-graduate blended-learning master's
programme, leading to a qualification in the teaching of English to
young learners (pre-school and primary school)
► combines online coursework with 2 days of face-to-face teaching
sessions per semester at the PH Freiburg (online, if necessary)
► is an excellent form of professional development for pre-school and
primary school language teachers
► gives access to degree courses in teacher education and research at
university level
► is a well-established master's programme, which has successfully
qualified teachers of English for young learners for more than a
decade
► has received excellent reviews and has been used as a model for
other blended-learning teacher qualification courses
Requirements:
1. An undergraduate degree (a BA degree from a university, university
of education or private university (based on 3 years of study) in any
discipline (need not be language- or teaching-related) with 180, 210
or 240 credit points)
2. One year work experience (one year of full-time work experience
(longer if you have worked part-time) in the field of education or in
a language-related area (the equivalent of 60 credit points)
3. Good English competences (B2 of the CEFR)
Application:
Application period: February 1st until May 31st 2025. The programme
starts every year in October. More info about the relevant application

Fees:
1600 € tuition + 199,50 € immatriculation fee (both per semester)
