and Literature, Faculty of Language and Information Sciences, has a
vacancy from 01.04.2025 for a position as
Research assistant (m/f/d)
(TV-L E 13, 100% - Postdoc)
for four years.
Your tasks:
- Active participation in the development and implementation of
research projects of the professorship for English Language Didactics
/ Second Language Acquisition
- Pursuit of own academic qualification (habilitation/post-doc)
- Writing of academic publications and proposals
- Independent preparation and implementation of courses in English
didactics of an average of 4 LVS per semester
- Conception, implementation, and evaluation of examination formats
- Willingness to undergo further training in higher education
didactics is expected
Your profile:
- Completed academic university degree and doctorate/PhD in TEFL,
TESOL, or (Instructed) Second Language Acquisition
- Very good English skills (at least C1 level)
- Sound expertise in quantitative research methodology
- Experience with publication in peer-reviewed journals
- Sound knowledge of TEFL/TESOL pedagogy and current research on
second and foreign language acquisition
- Expertise in digitalization and AI in foreign language teaching
- Expertise in or interest in Content and Language Integrated Learning

- Initiative, teamwork, and organizational talent
