The VI International RECoD Conference will take place in a hybrid
format (in-person and virtual) from October 21 to 23 at the National
University of San Marcos (Lima, Peru)

The conference welcomes papers analysing digital discourse in Spanish
from various theoretical and applied perspectives. Potential topics
include, but are not limited to: discourse and image analysis, emojis,
memes, political discourse online, registers, digital press discourse,
social media, artificial intelligence, and its relationship with
translation, among others.
 
Conference languages: Spanish, Portuguese, and English.
 
Keynote Speakers:
• Pilar Garcés-Conejos Blitvich (University of North
Carolina-Charlotte, USA)
• Nila Vigil (National University of San Marcos, Peru)
• Carlos Scolari (Pompeu Fabra University, Spain)
• Neyla Pardo (Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Colombia)
 
Proposal Submission:
Abstracts (300 words) must be submitted via the online form
(https://forms.gle/TnStFWDhqXWaXTyu6), including five keywords, by
April 5, 2025. Notification of acceptance will be sent
starting April 15, 2025.
