The Western Interdisciplinary Student Symposium on Language Research
(WISSLR) is an interdisciplinary conference organized and hosted by
Linguistic students at the University of Western Ontario.
Students of any level are invited to submit proposals, abstracts, or
ideas in any field related to linguistics and the study of language.
No registration fee is required to attend, and everyone is welcome to
enjoy the wide range of talks that will be presented at WISSLR. This
year, the conference will be hybrid, with options to present online or
in person. We will also have a poster session in person!
A prize with monetary compensation will be offered to the recipient of
the Best Presentation Award at the conference!
Abstract submissions are open until January 30th, 2025. This deadline
can be flexible, please email us at uwo.wisslr at gmail.com .

WISSLR 2025 will be hosted in person in Conron Hall (UC3110),
University College, University of Western Ontario (London, Canada),
and online via Zoom on March 15th, 2025.
