2nd Call for Papers:
A reminder that abstracts for the 19th Workshop in General Linguistics
(WiGL 19) to be held in-person Friday and Saturday, March 14-15, 2025
at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and online Sunday, March 16,
2025 are due January 17, 2025 at 11:59PM CST. As a student conference,
only abstracts first- or co-authored by undergraduate, graduate, or
recently graduated students will be considered. Abstracts can be
submitted for 20 minute (+10 minute Q/A period) presentations,
posters, or 60-minute online workshops on any linguistics-related
topic. Abstracts for projects at any stage in the research process,
including course projects, may be submitted.
Abstracts should be at most 500 words, not including data, graphics,
or references, and should not include the author’s name or
affiliation. Abstracts for workshops should include a tentative
breakdown of workshop elements and its learning outcomes. Please
submit abstracts in pdf format. Decisions will be announced in mid
February. Please submit abstracts via this Google Form:
