Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore is delighted to host the EuroCALL
2025 conference in Milan, Italy. The theme of EuroCALL 2025 is
Advancing CALL: new research agendas.
As technology reshapes the way languages are taught and learned, this
conference focuses on innovative approaches that push the boundaries
of CALL research in all L2-teaching environment. We will discuss and
explore the forefront of research methodologies and dive into the
tools, frameworks, and experimental designs that define the future of
language education.
We particularly welcome papers that apply established or emerging
theories and frameworks and use quantitative and qualitative methods
to support CALL research. Themes related to learning processes,
assessment, and the innovative use of AI in CALL are also very
welcome.
Submissions may include, but are not limited to:
- Application of theories and frameworks supporting CALL
- Emerging trends around AI in CALL
- Language corpora and data-driven learning
- Task-based Language Teaching Methodologies in CALL
- Learner assessment in CALL
- Incorporating AI in CALL teacher training
- Evaluation and re-evaluation of teaching methodologies in CALL
- Multimodal corpora of spoken language for the acquisition of oral
phenomena
- Linguistic-technological approaches for analysing L2 acquisition

- Language for specific purposes in CALL
- Inclusive CALL
- CALL for social justice
- CLIL materials development in CALL
The working languages are English and Italian. Abstract submission
ends on 3rd October.
