The Faculty of Philosophy, Applied Linguistics / Psycholinguistics Lab
at the University of Erfurt is seeking to fill the following position
for 40 hours per week as of April 1, 2025:
Post Doc (wiss. Mitarbeiter:in, f/m/d)
Pay group 13 TV-L (100 %)
Fields of activity
- Further academic qualification (with the aim of habilitation)
- Participation in the teaching of the Department of Linguistics
(Applied Linguistics / Psycholinguistics Lab) to the extent of 4 LVS
(2 courses per week)
- Research in the field of the Applied Linguistics / Psycholinguistics
Lab
- Participation in the administrative activities of the Lab and the
Faculty of Philosophy
What we expect
- Completed university degree and a very good PhD in psycholinguistics
or related subjects
- Ability and willingness to participate in teaching
- Experience in experimental psycholinguistic research (in particular
experience with graphomotor analyses and/or eye movement research as
well as experience in experimental control and statistical methods)
- Knowledge in the fields of phonology, graphematics, prosody, mental
lexicon and/or morphology and/or of their applications in acquisition,
didactics and/or intervention of (written) language are desirable
- Ability to work in a team as well as independently, communication
skills
- Special commitment to the supervision of students
- Very good knowledge of both English and German (or the willingness
to acquire this in a short time)
