Subject: Seeking informations to update the South American languages in the Catalogue of Endangered languages.
Seeking help to update information on South American languages for The
Catalogue of Endangered Languages (ELCat), at
www.endangeredlanguages.com.
Recent references, definitely after 2012, are needed that supply,
where possible, speaker numbers, vitality status, and location, though
information via personal communication is also welcome.
I’ve updated the information on most of the Indigenous languages
of South America (though it will not appear in the catalogue for some
time yet). It is truly surprising how much has changed since 2012. The
ones for which I have not yet been able to find adequate information
