The conference is intended as a platform for scholars from different

areas connected with language, including cognitive linguistics,
contrastive linguistics, corpus linguistics, cultural linguistics,
socio- and psycholinguistics, discourse analysis, language acquisition
and learning, lexicology and lexicography, pragmatics, terminology and
terminography, and translation studies. Proposals in other relevant
research areas are also welcome. The conference is intended to explore
both empirical and theoretical findings in linguistic research as well
as their application in teaching.
The special theme, “Linguistic Innovations in a Globally
Interconnected World,” aims to unite linguists, educators,
researchers, and practitioners in exploring the latest developments in
linguistics worldwide, especially the dynamic changes in English
language that arise from our increasingly globalized society. This
conference will showcase research and discussions on how technology,
migration, and cultural exchange have led to the emergence of new
linguistic trends, hybrid languages, and communication practices.
